This group meets for four consecutive Sundays during our 10:45AM service time. We will help you identify and start to develop what God has already given you!

Childcare for nursery and preschool is available. But we will not have a separate youth service, as students are encouraged to be a part of the night - we'll have reserved youth seating toward the front!
Summer is for camp! Calling all 6th-12th grade students to join in as we immerse ourselves in 100+ hours of worship, deep conversations, relevant spiritual coaching, and powerful alter moments - all coming together to make a way for a personal, life-changing, encounter with God!
We will be partnering again with Hope Chapel Church and traveling down to Life Change Campgrounds in Clinton, MO. There will be canoes, a pool, a water slide, team competitions, worship, a camp speaker, breakouts, small groups, and more!

We are so excited to announce that Connect Kids Camp is coming up July 8th -12th. Camp will be hosted at New Life Church in Oak Grove. This is a one-week, day camp filled with non-stop fun, engaging activities, daily faith-based lessons, and the chance to make lasting friendships. Four Corners Kids will be having a blast in their classes with a "Candy Catapult Craze" during service in addition to their regular services. It's going to be such a fun morning celebrating together as a family.

Our Care Team serves Foster and Adoptive families in our church with a "Respite Night Out", allowing parents/caregivers the ability to get out for the night and have a few hours to refresh and recharge. If you are a foster &/or adoptive family, we would love to support you through this ministry!

We are excited to take our 3rd mission trip to Nicaragua this year! During this trip, our team plans to serve the community in tangible ways and build homes for families in need. No home-building experience required! Specific dates are still yet to be determined, but we would love to know if you have ANY interest in being a part of this life-changing trip. If that's you, please plan to attend one of our upcoming interest meetings immediately following both our 9:15 and 10:45am services Sunday, February 25th in Meeting Room 2. This meeting will only last around 30 minutes and childcare is available for babies and pre-schoolers if needed. Be sure to let our kids check-in team know before you stop into the meeting.
Our Small Group Fair will be following each service on Sunday, February 18th where you will be able to meet different leaders and find a group that is best for you. All groups will be featured on our website at that time. February 11th is SUPER BOWL SUNDAY! Before we disperse across the city to watch OUR CHIEFS play in the Super Bowl, we hope you'll join us in church for “A Word From Our Sponsor”! This has become a yearly Super Bowl Sunday tradition, where we have 4 different communicators share a redemptive message within 4 different TV commercials. We'd love for you and your family to join us on Christmas Eve at 9:15 or 10:45AM, here at The City House. This is one of our favorite services of the year as we come together to celebrate the birth of our Savior with music and an inspiring word from Pastor Craig. Childcare will be offered for babies six weeks through Pre-K and elementary students are encouraged to be a part of the service with their families.

We are filled with faith as we prepare for our Kingdom Offering Sundays, November 19th & 26th! This annual, big-give offering will go above and beyond our normal tithes to make a difference both locally and globally, as we set out to meet immediate Kingdom needs. Starting November 5th, we will begin a three-week generosity series entitled, The Cure. We will dive into what the Bible teaches us about generosity and how to honor God with our finances.

Sunday, October 29th from 5:30-7:00 pm, our Wraparound Care team will be hosting a Fall Family Fun Night for the foster/adoptive families in our church and community and we want to give YOU the opportunity to get involved! This event will be similar to a trunk or treat, but we will be setting up fun, decorated tables around our lobby at The City House.
There are a few ways to get involved:
1) Sponsor a table - The cost is $5. You will be able to decorate a table with a kid-friendly (non-spooky) theme for our families to come through and enjoy!
2) Donate funds - If you can't make it to the event but still want to sew into this ministry.
3) Donate candy - You can drop off candy at the Welcome Desk the next couple of Sundays or at the office throughout this week.

Our Fall Clean-up, is coming up on Saturday, October 28th, from 8 AM to 12 PM. The City House is utilized 7 days a week by different organizations and non-profits in our community. Let's come together to care for our building and property so we can continue to be a blessing to our community for many years to come! If you are handy, enjoy yard work, or simply willing to walk around to pick up trash, every effort will be a huge help! Donuts and coffee will be provided. We have many different teams where you could help make a Kingdom difference! Calling all Four Corners Kids Elementary Families! Sunday evening, May 21st, Kindergarten through 5th-grade families are invited to celebrate the end of the school year at Kangas Indoor Playcenter in Independence from 6:30-8:30PM! Admission is FREE and FREE dinner will be provided for everyone who attends! This will be a fun night for our families and friends to get together, have fun and celebrate summer!

This month we're partnering with FosterAdopt Connect for their Sock and Undie Drive! Sammy's Window, their clothing closet and food pantry, provides free basic need items for foster and adoptive children and one of the biggest needs is new socks and underwear. Their goal for the month is to stock up on 3,000 pairs and we're excited to help! You can drop off NEW packages of socks and/or underwear (any size will do!) at the Welcome Desk any Sunday in May.
Wraparound Care Interest Meeting/Training is Saturday, April 29th, from 9am-2pm in Meeting Room 2!
Our heart is to provide more support for our foster and adoptive families in our church and community. Grafted roots sustain life and we know so many of us are gifted in different ways that can help wrap around these amazing families!
The training will discuss what wrap-around care is, our church’s vision for it, and how trauma affects families and grows the need for support.

Eagle Lake Camp is coming back to The City House this summer, July 4-8, for kids 6-12 years old!
This all-day camp is so much fun, with huge water inflatables, climbing courses, gaga ball... all with friends and incredible, trained counselors.
At this camp, your kiddos will not only have a blast, but they will also, more importantly, be strengthened in their walk with God with small group Bible studies, intentional spiritual conversations, and foundational teaching about God.
